Going to the movie theater feels different. I love going when there's a particular movie I really want to see. Right now, I'm waiting for Dune: Part Three. No, I'm not waiting. I'm LONGING for Dune. Can't wait! That's the kind of release that gets me excited about making plans with a friend and seeing something on a big screen. My best friend also loves Dune so I already know who's going to be my date.

I'm particularly special with series. I prefer something short enough to finish over a weekend. When a show requires months of watching, there's a good chance I'll leave it unfinished. I'm sorry. I just move on with my life. For example, I never got obsessed with Grey's Anatomy as most of my friends did. They love that show, but I could never. How many seasons does it have? Are we insane? Please let's round off. I might enjoy it when I start, but keeping up with it for that long can be difficult.

Sitcoms are an exception because I love shows like The Office and Friends that have a lot of seasons. They are easy to watch since the episodes last about twenty minutes, so I can have a laugh and get back to whatever I was doing. Even with all those seasons, watching them doesn't feel like such a big commitment. Perhaps that's what I can't do: commit to something for a long period of time. Interesting. My therapist would definitely have something to say about that. My ex-girlfriend too. But heyyyy, that's for another post! A deeper one. Here we're all about popcorn and big screens and movie nights with friends. Enjoy the memes!
